Los Angeles Photographer
“There’s a constant question of whether to capture or to create. Capturing is natural, raw, static, and truthful. Creating is fun and mystical with endless possibilities. Endless combinations of the two exist”.
“Through the course of my life, looking at great photos has always provided me wonderful feelings that could never be put into words. It has taken me until now to realize that maybe I should create images for others to achieve the same feelings”.
Born in Baltimore, MD, Chris spent his most of his younger years skateboarding and playing drums in various bands. While growing up, he always had a basic camera for everyday snapshots; he found comfort in looking through, and adding to, his photo albums. In 2008, Chris’s interest in photography consumed much more of his time. He began assisting accomplished fashion photographers in Maryland, DC, and New York. At this time, he learned more about the technical aspects of shooting and the business of photography. With a solid understanding of the components necessary to make a successful photographer, he ventured out on his own in late 2011, at which time he began accepting larger jobs in higher frequency, making for the start of a professional career in photography. Since then, Chris has expanded his client portfolio with companies such as GBX Shoes, Giorgio Brutini, Goodyear, Bubbles Salons, Christopher Schafer Clothier, Operation Homefront, Journeys, Cracker Barrel, All Time Low, and many others.
After relocating to Los Angeles in December 2018, Chris's current services include portrait, fashion, advertising, editorial, headshot, and product photography.
